We highly recommend seeking a professional installer before taking your iPhone apart. The original Touch ID sensor cable in an iPhone 6 & 6 Plus is permanently paired to the original logicboard inside the phone. Replacing this part will only restore the home button functions of the device, not the fingerprint reader.
